Bets.io: Self-Exclusion Failures

One case on file, from June 2026.

A player from French Guiana says they asked Bets.io several times from March to close their account for good, but the casino kept them playing with bonuses, cashback and VIP perks, and they lost more than €10,000.

Bets.io said it didn't know about any gambling problem at the time. The mediator saw no message naming a gambling problem before 10 June, so Bets.io wasn't required to refund the losses.

• Write "self-exclusion" and name your gambling problem in the message, and keep a copy.
• Send the same request to every casino where you hold an account.
