What Happened
A player from Japan says Wild.io voided $13,378 won with the third deposit bonus of its welcome package, a week after they passed video KYC. The casino said players from Japan may not take that bonus. The player says Japan was added to the excluded list only after the win, pointing to its out-of-order place in the list. Wild.io later said the player hid their location with a VPN, and that the bonus was credited by a system error its terms let it reverse.
How It Developed
- 2026-04-27Wild.io told the mediator the bonus country limits applied for the whole time the player was active, and denied any link to another site the player compared it with.
- 2026-06-19The mediator said archived copies of the bonus page from around the sign-up date did not list Japan, and asked the casino for dated proof.
- 2026-06-27After Wild.io said a VPN had hidden the player's country until KYC, the player recorded a test sign-up that, they say, used a Japanese mobile connection with no VPN and still got the bonus. The mediator warned that a second account can itself break casino rules.
- 2026-09-22The mediator said the casino's private IP records appeared to point to Japan, Casino.guru saw similar results in its own VPN test, and the casino's newer test suggested the system may since have been fixed.
- 2026-10-09Wild.io cited its error clauses and kept its decision, saying only the 515 USDT left on the main account and 22 USDT on the test account can be withdrawn. The player rejected a deposit-only refund.
- 2026-10-13The mediator said it could not verify when Japan was added or that the player deliberately got around the limit. It asked Wild.io to answer the player's points and said the case will close as unresolved if the casino still keeps its decision. New posts from both sides await moderation.
Ongoing
Wild.io keeps its decision and offers only leftover deposit funds; the mediator will close it as unresolved if the casino still refuses after answering the open points.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
The player's own evidence swayed the mediator: a screen recording of a fresh sign-up from Japan receiving the bonus, and a dated timeline of KYC and the casino's replies. It has not changed Wild.io's decision. Before taking a welcome bonus, save a dated copy of its terms, including the country list.
