What Happened
A player says 7Bit cut their balance twice under the limits of a single welcome bonus. First, when the wagering was done, the balance dropped to 3 mBTC. About six hours of play later, the player asked to withdraw 40 mBTC; the casino declined it and removed about 33.5 mBTC, roughly $600. 7Bit said the second cut came from a separate cashout limit on bonus winnings.
How It Developed
- Complaint opened. The player says only the free spins had a cashout cap, while the deposit bonus had none, so neither cut fit the offer's terms.
- 2023-03-257Bit credited 0.005 BTC, which it later called the full allowed cashout from the bonus. The player, who got about $120 from it, says it settled a separate issue.
- 7Bit also said the player lived in the US, where it does not accept players, and later banned them from all its sites. The player says they live in Canada near the border and had sent ID and a bank statement.
- The mediator's log review showed two separate cuts and asked 7Bit to explain them. 7Bit said it applies a maximum win when wagering ends and a maximum cashout at withdrawal.
- 2023-07-02The mediator closed the case as unresolved, saying 7Bit was wrong to cap the same winnings twice and the player should have been paid in full. Casino.guru withdrew its fair-casino badge.
Confiscated
The mediator ruled the double cap unfair, but 7Bit kept about $600 and Casino.guru removed its fair badge.
What Helped
The mediator sided with the player but could not make 7Bit pay. Before you take a bonus, check whether it has both a maximum win and a separate maximum cashout, and ask support in writing how each applies to free-spin winnings.
