What Happened
A player from Japan says BetFury blocked their account for supposed multi-accounting right after they requested a withdrawal of cash winnings worth about $5,618, won without touching the bonus they had taken. They deny having any other account and guess a shared IP or VPN tripped the system. BetFury said its risk team saw signs of bonus abuse and multiple accounts but would review again after full KYC. The player did most of that KYC, but the casino said one piece, proof of where the wallet's crypto came from, never arrived.
How It Developed
- 2026-07-22Complaint opened. The player offered to do any identity check to prove the account was theirs.
- 2026-07-24BetFury replied that the block followed a full review, not one event, and offered a fresh look once full KYC was done. The player answered the mediator's questions: no one else in the household plays there, the details are genuine, deposits were in crypto.
- 2026-08-10The mediator asked the casino to tell the player how to start the KYC; BetFury said the player had to email its risk department first.
- 2026-08-18The player said verification was under way, then that they were waiting on a review of their deposit and withdrawal records.
- 2026-09-08BetFury said ID, address, selfie and wallet screenshots were in, but proof of the exchange transfer and that the exchange account was the player's had been outstanding for about ten days. The player said everything had been sent.
- 2026-09-29The mediator asked how and when the wallet was funded; the player did not answer and the case was closed after an extension.
Abandoned
The player stopped responding while BetFury was still waiting for proof of where the wallet's funds came from.
What Helped
Partly. Pressing the casino in the thread got the KYC route opened, which the player said they had never been told about. It stalled on source-of-funds: BetFury wanted the exchange withdrawal record plus proof the exchange account was the player's. Have both ready before you appeal a multi-account block.
