What Happened
A player from Venezuela says BetFury blocked their new account at the first withdrawal, after they had met the wagering on a community bonus code. Support said they had other accounts, which the player denies, and the player says support would not let them clear it up through KYC. BetFury told the mediator it saw signs of multiple accounts and promo-code abuse.
How It Developed
- Complaint opened the day the player signed up, played through the bonus and tried to withdraw.
- BetFury said account-access patterns pointed to multiple accounts and promo-code abuse under its terms, and offered a full KYC review through its risk team.
- The player said support had told them a KYC appeal wasn't possible. BetFury later said documents had arrived but did not match the details entered at the first verification step; it would reconsider given a reasonable explanation and no links to other accounts.
- The player said the account was opened with a crypto wallet login and they don't know their username.
- The mediator has twice asked which details differ and why, what was sent and when, and about shared devices, VPN use, the bonus code and deposits. Those answers are still missing.
Ongoing
Waiting for the player to explain the KYC mismatch. BetFury says it will reconsider if the answer is reasonable.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
BetFury has left a door open: explain the mismatch between your first-step details and your ID, and show there is no link to another account. Answering each of the mediator's questions is what moves this kind of case.
