What Happened
A player from Norway says Winz.io disabled their account a day after a withdrawal request and kept the whole balance of about 1,600 USDC, saying they had used an unfair advantage. The player says they turned a 500 USDC deposit into that sum on Mines and live wheel games, with no bonus. After seeing the casino's evidence, the mediator found the account had been opened or verified with another person's details or documents.
How It Developed
- 2026-09-30Complaint opened. The player says support first described the delay as a routine check by the finance team.
- 2026-10-02The player sent the mediator their full game history: the casino's own Mines game and two live wheel games.
- 2026-10-09The mediator saw runs of very fast rounds, including 60 in about 11 seconds. The player said tapping start and stop by hand is quicker than autoplay and does not change results.
- 2026-10-22The case went to a new resolver, who asked Winz.io for its side and evidence. Winz.io replied the same day; the reply is not public, and the mediator later thanked it for its evidence.
- 2026-10-23The mediator rejected the complaint. Based on the casino's evidence on sign-up and ID checks, it found someone else's details or documents were used, which it said justifies closing the account and keeping the balance.
Rejected
After seeing Winz.io's evidence, the mediator found the account used another person's details or documents and backed keeping the balance.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
Nothing could save this one once the identity finding came in. Open and verify a casino account only in your own name with your own documents: a mediator will back a confiscation for that even when no bonus was used.
