Winna: Confiscated Winnings

Two cases on file where Winna voided or froze winnings over sports betting. In one, Winna voided a player's winnings over suspicious sportsbook activity but let them take out the $199.16 deposit, which sat pending for months until a complaint.

Winna says it then put the money back in the balance. In the other, a player from Kuwait says Winna barred them from sports but let them keep playing casino games.

It then froze about $3,800 in casino winnings, saying they had placed sports bets. The mediator sided with Winna after seeing evidence that isn't public.

• Keep the email if a casino blocks part of your account, and stay well away from anything that could count as the banned activity.
• Say in the complaint whether a promised refund actually arrived.
