What Happened
A player from Japan says they joined BetFury on 18 August 2026, lost two deposits, won big on a third and were still clearing the bonus wagering when the risk team removed the bonus, citing its one-account clause. BetFury said a routine check found technical links to other accounts, that the balance was still bonus money mid-wagering rather than withdrawable cash, and that the account stays open pending extra KYC. The mediator accepted the casino's device evidence.
How It Developed
- 2026-08-25Complaint opened. The player said live chat quoted the multi-account rule but could not explain it, and emails went unanswered.
- 2026-08-26The player denied sharing a device, network or household with anyone; BetFury replied that its risk review linked the account to others and that evidence had gone to Casino.guru by email.
- 2026-08-28The player pointed out that the casino's VIP team had emailed them on 27 August offering another bonus.
- 2026-09-02A second mediator asked BetFury for the technical link evidence and an explanation of that VIP email.
- 2026-09-08BetFury said the email came from a VIP manager unaware of the restriction, which stayed in place; the mediator found the same-device link proven and rejected the complaint.
Rejected
The mediator accepted BetFury's evidence that the account shared a device with others; BetFury says the balance was bonus money, never withdrawable cash.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
Nothing freed the bonus. Two things stand out: BetFury says the money was still locked bonus balance, not winnings, so even on paper there was little to recover; and a VIP email offering more bonuses did not cancel the restriction. If a casino cites account links, ask early whether completing KYC will restore anything; here, the player says, support had already said it would not.
