What Happened
A player from Canada says they permanently self-excluded from Betpanda in August 2025, citing a serious gambling addiction. In July 2026 they emailed asking to return, mentioning treatment, and say the account was reopened at once with no waiting period or checks. They then lost about 1,300 USDC. According to the player, Betpanda refused a refund, treating the treatment remark as a declaration of recovery. The casino told the mediator it would email evidence and never did.
How It Developed
- 2026-09-14Complaint opened asking for the 1,300 USDC deposited after the reopening.
- 2026-09-16The mediator asked for the original exclusion email, the closure confirmation, the reopening exchange, the refund refusal and the deposit history; the player sent them by email.
- 2026-09-23A resolver took over and invited Betpanda, which asked for an email address to send sensitive material to and was given one.
- 2026-10-01Nothing arrived, so the casino got seven more days.
- 2026-10-08The case was closed as unresolved. The mediator noted Betpanda has no valid licence and no dispute body to escalate to.
Unresolved
Betpanda promised to send its evidence and then stopped answering the mediator; it holds no valid licence to appeal to.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
Nothing freed the money. Betpanda's one reply was a promise to email evidence that never came, and the mediator pointed out there is no licence or regulator behind the site. Before you deposit anywhere after an exclusion, check whether there is a regulator at all; here there was nowhere left to go.
