What Happened
A player from the UK says Bets.io blocked their account and cancelled a $1,571 win, saying they had used banned game strategies. The player says they only spun one slot at $2 a spin, and that slot was not excluded. They later told the mediator a bonus was active at the time. The rule the casino quoted bans strategies at table games such as roulette and cards.
How It Developed
- 2025-07-03Complaint opened. The player says they joined in mid-December 2024, were already verified, and were blocked on 7 January.
- The player said they could no longer log in, so they could not send their game history, and forwarded their chats with the casino.
- The mediator asked Bets.io which unfair strategy it meant and offered to take evidence privately, then extended the deadline twice.
- 2025-08-12Bets.io never answered. The case was closed and the player was pointed to the Anjouan licensing authority.
Unresolved
Bets.io never answered the mediator, and the player says the $1,571 win was never paid.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
Nothing did, because Bets.io stayed silent. If a casino says you used a strategy on slots, ask it in writing to name the rule and the bets, and take that answer to the regulator.
