What Happened

A player from the United States sent 0.19 LTC, worth about $19, to Bitkingz as a first deposit; they say the price moved in transit and it landed just under the 0.2 LTC minimum. They say support told them it would not be credited, could not be traced and was not held by the casino. Bitkingz told the mediator that anything under its minimum counts as lost, that US players are barred, and that the account was closed over a wrong registration country. Asked how coins vanish on a blockchain, it went silent.

How It Developed

  • 2025-02-02Complaint opened. The mediator confirmed the 0.2 LTC minimum shown on the deposit page and asked for the receipt and chat transcript.
  • 2025-02-07The player posted the transaction hash as proof the coins were received.
  • 2025-02-10A resolver invited the casino; Bitkingz replied the same day that the funds were lost, US players are barred, and the account was closed for false personal details.
  • 2025-02-11The mediator pointed out that a successful blockchain transfer always reaches someone, and that keeping a deposit a hair under the minimum seemed unfair; the casino repeated its position.
  • 2025-02-14The mediator again asked the casino to explain how the funds could be lost; the player, meanwhile, argued that many players reach casinos through VPNs.
  • 2025-02-28The casino stopped answering and the case was closed as unresolved, with a pointer to the Curaçao regulator.
Unresolved

Bitkingz kept an under-minimum 0.19 LTC deposit as lost, cited the player's US location, and stopped answering the mediator.

What Has (and Hasn't) Helped

The player posted the transaction hash and the mediator agreed a completed transfer must have reached someone, but the casino would not budge and then went silent. Two lessons: send a little more than a crypto minimum to allow for price swings, and do not deposit at a casino that bars your country, because that gave the casino a second reason to close the account.
