What Happened
A player from Germany says three baccarat rounds at Housebets, with stakes of 450.30, 200 and 432.74 dollars, showed different cards on the table than the casino's built-in fairness verifier produced from the same seeds. He asked for those rounds to be voided and his stakes returned. According to the player, Housebets replied that the verifier had displayed the wrong cards while the rounds themselves were settled correctly, and offered to fix the tool. The mediator accepted that explanation.
How It Developed
- 2026-08-17Complaint opened with bet IDs, nonces and seeds for the three rounds.
- 2026-08-18The player forwarded the casino's email, arguing that a verifier that disagrees with the table is itself proof of manipulation, and refusing any retroactive fix.
- 2026-08-25The mediator asked for evidence that the bets were settled wrongly, as opposed to the verifier showing wrong cards. The player repeated that the mismatch is the evidence.
- 2026-09-01The mediator rejected the complaint, saying that without direct proof against the casino's account it could not overturn it, and that the casino had investigated, fixed the fault and offered compensation.
Rejected
The mediator accepted Housebets' account that only the verifier display was wrong, and noted the casino offered compensation.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
Nothing for the refund. The mediator drew a line between a broken verification display and a wrongly settled bet, and wanted proof of the latter. If you spot a verifier mismatch, capture the full round result and the verifier output together, and ask the provider, not just the casino, to audit it.
