What Happened
A player from Austria says Vave blocked their account on 1 July 2026 and kept a balance of more than €170,000 won on slots, citing fraud. The player says they had played there for almost two years, were fully verified and used no bonus. When they asked what they had done, support only sent its general anti-fraud rules, the player says, and the deposits were not returned either.
How It Developed
- 2026-07-21The case went to a resolver, who asked Vave for its side and its evidence.
- 2026-07-24Vave said a game provider had reported abnormal play across several accounts, that the winnings were void under its anti-fraud terms, and that the provider's evidence was confidential.
- 2026-07-27The mediator asked for the provider report, round IDs, an explanation of the mechanic used, and a split of deposits versus disputed winnings.
- 2026-08-14Vave said it had sent the betting history and a provider incident report admitting a technical fault on the provider's side. The player said this clashed with the earlier fraud claim.
- 2026-08-27The mediator gave Vave a final 7 days to send the underlying records, not just written conclusions. Vave answered that its documents were enough.
- 2026-09-01The complaint was closed as unresolved. The mediator said Vave never showed what was exploited, in which rounds, or how the player gained an edge.
Confiscated
The mediator found Vave's evidence too thin to justify the confiscation, and the casino kept the balance.
What Helped
Pressing for specifics drew out Vave's mention of a fault on the provider's side, which the player says clashes with the fraud claim, but it did not get the money back. The next step is the Curaçao regulator: name the operator and attach the mediator's finding.
