What Happened
A player from Austria says they joined Betcoin.ag on 11 September, deposited €300 in crypto, played blackjack and placed about five sports bets. One day later the account was suspended with no clear reason, and they say email and live chat went unanswered. They put their winnings at roughly €500 but cannot check, because they can no longer log in.
How It Developed
- Complaint opened. The player asked for an explanation and either access back or a payout of the balance.
- The casino cited a rule that lets it close accounts and stop payouts for abusive betting, such as arbitrage or alert tools. It said it gave its evidence to the mediator but would not share its findings with the player.
- The player called the rule too broad and asked which bet broke it, plus a copy of the betting history.
- The mediator found the casino had acted within its terms and closed the case, pointing the player to a regulator or ADR body.
Rejected
The mediator found the casino acted within its terms on abusive betting; the player got no access or money back.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
The casino never named the bets it objected to on the page, and the mediator accepted its private evidence. Save your own bet history as you go, because once an account is blocked you may lose access to it.
