What Happened
A player from Poland says Chips.gg asked for KYC a few weeks into playing, after several withdrawals had already gone through. They sent the documents, got no reply to emails, found only a bot on live chat, and then learned the account was blocked. They say it is their only account, no bonus was used and the money was their own, though they admit using a VPN at times. The casino never answered the mediator.
How It Developed
- 2025-04-23Complaint opened. The mediator asked whether KYC had passed, whether a bonus was used and whether any reason was given; the player said none was.
- 2025-05-01Further questions established the player used both casino games and sports betting, their own payment method and their own money.
- 2025-05-07Asked about a VPN, the player said they sometimes used one, believed the casino allowed it, and declined to say which countries.
- 2025-05-09A resolver invited Chips.gg to explain and send evidence. A 7-day extension followed.
- 2025-05-23No response came. The case was closed as unresolved, with a pointer to the Anjouan licence validator's complaint form.
Unresolved
Chips.gg never replied to the mediator about an account blocked after KYC with about 800 dollars inside.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
Nothing worked: the casino ignored the mediator as it had ignored the player. The next step offered was the Anjouan Gaming licence validator's complaint form, in English only. The mediator pressed on VPN use and the player declined to say which locations were used, so that question was never settled.
