What Happened
A player from Ethiopia says FortuneJack rejected a withdrawal, asked for KYC, then closed the account and kept the balance, saying it was tied to several other accounts and to bonus abuse. The player denies owning any other account, says the winnings came from sports free bets and their own stakes, and suggests changing mobile-data IP addresses caused a mix-up. FortuneJack ignored the thread for weeks, then sent the mediator evidence privately.
How It Developed
- 2026-07-23Complaint opened. The player confirmed promotions were used, play was sports betting, and that no one in the household had another account.
- 2026-07-27The player said the casino had named specific linked usernames they did not recognise, and had also kept a $100 deposit made during KYC.
- 2026-08-24The resolver invited FortuneJack to respond; nothing came in two weeks.
- 2026-09-07The case was marked unresolved for lack of cooperation, and the player was pointed to an Anjouan-approved dispute body.
- 2026-10-07FortuneJack asked for the case to be reopened and sent evidence. The mediator found account records and verification material together showed banned multi-accounting, not just shared IPs, and rejected the complaint.
Rejected
After a late reopening, the mediator accepted FortuneJack's private evidence of multiple accounts; the $885 stays with the casino.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
Nothing for the player. Note that a casino can come back weeks after an unresolved mark, and that the mediator will accept combined account and verification evidence even when the player cannot see it.
