What Happened
A player from Moldova says they registered at Betplay.io, placed one bet and tried to withdraw part of the money, at which point the account was blocked. Support told them it was for having multiple accounts, they say, offered no evidence and then went silent. The player says it was their first time at the casino, that it does no verification, and that their wife does not gamble. Betplay.io never responded to Casino.guru.
How It Developed
- 2025-03-29Complaint opened; the mediator asked about verification, other household accounts and the last contact with support.
- 2025-04-08The resolver invited Betplay.io to explain the block and back up the multi-account claim with evidence.
- 2025-04-15The casino had not replied, so the deadline was extended by a week.
- 2025-04-22Still nothing, so the case was closed as unresolved, counting against the casino's rating.
Unresolved
Betplay.io never answered the mediator; the block and the $550 at stake were never explained.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
Nothing could be tested because Betplay.io ignored the mediator. The case is a reminder that a casino with no KYC at signup can still block at the first withdrawal; the only pressure left is the casino's rating.
