What Happened
A player from Belarus says Betplay.io paid out one withdrawal in USDC, then blocked the account when they requested a second one in USDT to the same address. According to the player, the casino accused them of running several accounts, which they deny, and did not take up their offer to pass any identity check. About $850 was held.
How It Developed
- 2026-04-06Complaint opened. Over the next week the player told the mediator that nobody else used their connection, no bonus was involved, and no VPN was used.
- 2026-04-15The player emailed the mediator screenshots of the exchange with the casino.
- 2026-04-22The case went to a resolver, who warned that this casino had ignored Casino.guru before, and invited Betplay.io to explain the closure.
- 2026-04-29The casino was given another week.
- 2026-05-06No answer came. The mediator closed the case as unresolved and noted there is no licence or dispute service to escalate to.
Unresolved
Betplay.io never answered the mediator about the multi-account claim, and about $850 stays held.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
Nothing; Betplay.io never replied. Casino.guru had already warned that this operator tends to ignore it, and with no licence there was no regulator to approach. Checking both before depositing is the only protection on offer here.
