What Happened
A player from the Netherlands says Lucky Block closed their account and voided about $930 after a verification round in which a passport was accepted, a utility bill was refused and a bank statement was requested. Live chat only called it an internal security decision. Lucky Block told the mediator the player had repeatedly opened accounts to exploit its welcome promotion. The player admitted having an older account they had closed when they stopped playing, but said no bonus was used on the new one.
How It Developed
- 2024-08-29Complaint opened. The player said a passport was accepted, a utility bill refused, and the account closed after a bank statement was sent.
- 2024-09-11Answering the mediator, the player said the balance was won with real money and every document was in their own name.
- 2024-10-01The case passed to a second mediator, who invited Lucky Block and asked for evidence of any breach.
- 2024-10-04The casino replied that the player had created several accounts to abuse the welcome promo. The mediator said that was not enough to justify keeping the money and asked for proof.
- 2024-10-24After the casino emailed a rule and little else, the mediator asked a third time for registration dates, bonuses used and what advantage was gained.
- 2024-11-07The casino stopped responding. The complaint was closed as unresolved and the player was pointed to the Anjouan regulator.
Confiscated
The mediator found Lucky Block's duplicate-account evidence insufficient, and the casino kept the $930 balance.
What Helped
Nothing freed the money, but the mediator's standard is useful: an old, closed account on its own does not prove an unfair advantage. If you ever had an earlier account, say so up front and ask the casino to show which bonus was abused and when.
