What Happened
A player from Quebec says that after about a week of winning at Roobet's live blackjack tables and cashing out often, a routine C$8,000 withdrawal went into review, and 12 hours later the whole balance was gone. The player says the casino only quoted a rule letting it close accounts and freeze funds as it sees fit, and later barred them from live games over suspected card counting. They say they passed KYC and used no bonus.
How It Developed
- 2026-09-08The player told the mediator the balance came from live blackjack, with KYC done, no bonus and earlier withdrawals paid.
- 2026-09-22The mediator asked for every message with Roobet about the cancelled withdrawal, the removed balance and the rule it quoted.
- 2026-10-06The player said there was little to show: support only told them to email, emails went unanswered, and the history no longer shows the removal.
- 2026-10-13The mediator asked for any proof of the C$8,000 request, the balance of about C$20,000 before it was removed, the card-counting claim and the player's emails.
- 2026-10-20The deadline for the player was extended by 7 days.
Ongoing
Waiting for the player to prove the balance and its removal. Roobet has not been asked for its side yet.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
The case is stuck on proof. Take screenshots of your balance and every pending withdrawal while you still can: once a casino removes funds, its history may no longer show them, and mediators need evidence of the amount.
