What Happened
A player from India says a 40,000 INR withdrawal from Stake in April 2026 never arrived because their bank bounced it over a name mismatch, while support kept insisting it had gone through. During the case the player added four rupee deposits totalling 39,000 INR that they say left their bank but never showed in Stake. Both sides later agreed the withdrawal had been returned to the Stake balance and paid again, and that two small deposits were credited. Two deposits of 10,000 and 20,000 INR stayed in dispute.
How It Developed
- 2026-05-02Complaint opened over the bounced 40,000 INR withdrawal; the player attached bank statements.
- 2026-05-19Stake said its payments team had found the withdrawal was reversed into the player's balance and withdrawn again, that two deposits had been credited, and that two others never reached its provider. The player confirmed the first parts.
- 2026-06-02The player sent bank messages saying the two remaining deposits were debited and that the receiving bank had refused a reversal request.
- 2026-06-29Stake asked for a bank-issued record tying each deposit to its UTR number, and said its provider had rechecked and still had no record of the money.
- 2026-07-07After reviewing Stake's internal evidence privately, the mediator said nothing showed the money reached the casino and advised a formal trace through the bank under RBI rules. Stake said it could not hand its provider's files to the player.
- 2026-08-11The player stopped replying after the mediator's final view, and the case was closed.
Abandoned
The player stopped responding after the mediator found no proof that two deposits of 10,000 and 20,000 INR ever reached Stake. The withdrawal itself was recovered.
What Helped
Raising the complaint got Stake's payments team to lay out what happened to each transaction, which recovered the withdrawal and two deposits. For the last two, the player's bank letters and Stake's provider records pointed in opposite directions, and the mediator found nothing showing the money reached the casino. Ask your bank for a formal payment trace that names the UTR number, date, amount and sender account before you file.
