What Happened
A player from Japan says 16,000 XRP sent to BC.Game in February 2025 was never credited because it carried the wrong destination tag, the code that tells a casino which account an XRP transfer belongs to. According to the player, live support would not look into it, citing an internal rule that deposit questions must come within 60 days. The player wanted the coins credited, or sent back to an address of their choice.
How It Developed
- Complaint opened. The player said the transfer was complete on the blockchain and the casino was holding the coins.
- The player then said there had been two 16,000 XRP transfers, one with the wrong tag and one with the right tag. The player says the casino claimed the first had already been credited, and disputed that.
- The mediator asked the player to confirm whether the information the casino needed had been sent, and warned that more delay would lead to rejection.
- The player said old screenshots and chat logs were lost with a replaced phone, and pointed to public blockchain records instead.
- The mediator rejected the complaint because the player did not give timely updates or cooperate as required.
Rejected
AskGamblers closed the case because the player did not cooperate in time. The 16,000 XRP was not credited or returned.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
Nothing got the coins back, and the case stalled on missing records. Double-check the destination tag before sending XRP, report a missing deposit straight away, and keep copies of transfer receipts and support chats somewhere other than your phone.
