What Happened
A player from India says two rupee deposits, 1,800 INR and 1,000 INR, never showed up in their Stake wallet. According to the player, Stake support said it had not received the money and told them to ask their bank for a chargeback. The player did that; they say their own bank agreed but the receiving bank turned the reversal down after about 25 days.
How It Developed
- 2026-07-26Complaint opened. The player said they had followed support's advice and asked their bank to reverse both payments.
- 2026-07-28The mediator said the only route for an uncredited deposit is a trace by the payment provider, which can take a month, and left the case open.
- 2026-07-28The player posted receipts for both deposits and said the merchant's bank had refused the reversal.
- 2026-08-04The mediator explained that Casino.guru does not take on cases where a chargeback has already been requested, warned that chargebacks can get players flagged at casinos, and rejected the complaint.
Rejected
Casino.guru does not mediate once a chargeback has been requested, and the player had already asked their bank for one.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
Asking for a chargeback ended the case: Casino.guru will not mediate once one has been filed. Ask the payment provider to trace the transfer instead, and keep the chargeback as a last resort, because casinos often treat it as fraud.
