What Happened
A player from Egypt says a 20,000 EGP deposit left their e-wallet in August 2026 but never appeared in their Stake balance. According to the player, Stake said it never got the money, closed its own check and sent them to their bank. The player's payment provider, on the other hand, confirmed the money reached the recipient.
How It Developed
- Complaint opened. The mediator suggested a trace through the payment provider and kept the case open for a month.
- The player reported that the provider confirmed the money reached the recipient.
- The player sent the receipt, their account history, the provider and support messages, and a bank statement.
- The mediator asked for the full wallet history from 22 August onward, to rule out a refund before taking the case further.
- The resolver is away, so the deadline was moved back by 7 days.
Ongoing
Waiting for the wallet statement and the resolver's return. So far we only have the player's side.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
Sending a full paper trail early: receipt, account history, the provider's confirmation and a bank statement. One piece is still missing: a statement covering every day since the deposit, which shows the money wasn't quietly refunded.
