What Happened
A player says Stake froze their account with $1,192 inside. It showed withdraw-only mode, yet they still couldn't withdraw. They say an email to Stake's resolutions team went unanswered for 107 days, and after a failed level 4 upload, where the form took just one PDF, their KYC level dropped back down.
How It Developed
- Complaint opened. The player said level 3 had been approved, then a promised verification link never came.
- Stake said the newer documents didn't match the details given at sign-up, so verification had to restart. It listed what each level needs, including a utility bill, three months of payment proof, a payslip and a matching bank statement.
- The player asked what was wrong with the earlier uploads, saying the list of required documents kept changing.
- AskGamblers asked the player to send the papers and say so on the complaint, warning that otherwise it would be rejected.
- The page shows no sign the papers were sent, and the case was marked rejected with no reason posted.
Abandoned
No sign the player sent the documents Stake asked for; AskGamblers marked it rejected without a reason. No payout is shown.
What Helped
Nothing moved the case. Stake wanted papers that match the sign-up details exactly, including proof of income for level 4. Before you upload, check that your name, address and birth date match what you entered at sign-up, and confirm on the complaint once everything is sent.
