What Happened
A player from Bangladesh says Stake asked them to redo verification on an account that had already passed Level 4, then switched off withdrawals when they uploaded the same papers again. A balance of 593 USDT was stuck. Stake replied that the submission fell short of its KYC standards and that it had permanently restricted the account and kept the funds under its terms.
How It Developed
- 2026-08-27Complaint opened. The player said Stake's own support had told them to come to Casino.guru.
- 2026-08-31The mediator asked which documents were resent, how the player deposited and what they played. The player answered: crypto deposits, esports bets, and the earlier bank statement and payslip were lost, so nothing could be forwarded.
- 2026-09-24A resolver asked Stake why papers it had accepted before were no longer good enough.
- 2026-10-01Stake said its review found the documents did not meet its standards, so it had permanently restricted the account and was holding the balance. It sent details to the mediator by email.
- 2026-10-02After reading Stake's evidence, the mediator found the papers were not valid and genuine, and that the enhanced check had never actually been approved before. Complaint rejected.
Rejected
The mediator accepted Stake's evidence that the KYC papers were not genuine; the 593 USDT stays held.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
Nothing moved the case for the player, who could not show the mediator any of the documents involved. Keep copies of everything you upload to a casino. Without them, the mediator can only go on what the casino sends.
