What Happened

A player from Turkey says Stake shut their account for good with about 7,000 USDT of deposited money inside, after the upper KYC levels went nowhere. Card statements, a government address record and bills in a parent's name were all turned down, according to the player. Support later told them the matter was closed and, the player says, offered no way to appeal or to withdraw the balance. Once the mediator brought Stake in, the casino sent a fresh verification link, and the player passed every level.

How It Developed

  • 2026-08-22Complaint opened. The player had passed the first two KYC levels, but every address document for level 3 was refused and the account was then closed.
  • 2026-08-31The player reported that live support now called the case closed. They asked for an outside appeal route and a way to take out the balance, and said they would happily redo the identity check.
  • 2026-09-15The case moved to a resolver, who asked Stake to spell out why the account was closed and the money held.
  • 2026-09-18Stake said an internal review had led it to send the player a new verification link, with a decision to follow once the submission was checked.
  • 2026-09-21The player cleared levels 2, 3 and 4. A bank statement alone was not enough for the income check, but papers from selling a car got it through. They then asked Stake's accounts team to lift the restriction.
  • 2026-09-28The player reported withdrawing the money to their own wallet and marked the complaint as resolved.
Resolved

After the mediator stepped in, Stake re-ran the KYC, the player passed all levels and withdrew about 7,099 USDT.

What Helped

Getting a resolver to put the question to Stake directly: within days the casino reopened verification it had called final. For the income step, proof of a one-off sale (here a car) worked where a bank statement alone did not. Push back politely in the thread rather than through live chat.
