What Happened

A player from Kazakhstan says they had been stuck on Stake's second verification step since February 2023. They sent an ID photo and several selfies holding the ID with a dated note, but the player says Stake kept asking for a passport instead. The player says most people there only have a national ID, and they would not get a passport just for this.

How It Developed

  • Complaint opened. The player asked the mediator to get Stake to accept the ID selfies and let them move on to levels 3 and 4.
  • The player later said they would send a new typed payslip from their employer's accounts team and a bank statement showing their salary.
  • The mediator reopened the case at Stake's request to try once more.
  • Stake said no new documents had been uploaded. It wants original, typed papers: a proof of address from the last three months for level 3, and payslips plus bank statements for level 4.
  • The mediator asked the player to confirm the papers were sent, warning that delays lead to rejection. No answer appears, and the case was closed as rejected.
Abandoned

The player didn't confirm sending the promised documents, so AskGamblers marked it rejected. Stake said nothing new had been uploaded.

What Helped

Nothing moved the case. Stake said nothing new had been uploaded, and the complaint was rejected. If you promise documents, upload them and tell the mediator straight away, and make sure they are originals with no handwriting.
