What Happened
A high-tier VIP player from Indonesia says they've spent seven months trying to pass Stake's proof-of-address check, with about $11,000 in BNB stuck behind it. Bank statements, utility receipts, a rental agreement and an employment letter were all turned down. The casino even agreed to check a second address in Russia, and that didn't go through either.
How It Developed
- Complaint opened after seven months of rejected address documents. The player says a finished level 3–4 check was later reset.
- The player told the mediator Stake never said what was wrong with each document. It only asked for different ones.
- The mediator collected the rejected documents and handed the case to a resolver, who asked Stake to respond.
- Stake replied that the account is temporarily suspended over a suspected breach of its terms. It turned down a digital bank certificate and listed the original, stamped and signed documents it does accept.
- Latest: the player has replied, and the case is waiting for the next step.
Ongoing
Stake has now said which documents it accepts; the account stays suspended for now.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
The mediator got the first clear answer in seven months: Stake named the document it rejected and listed what it accepts. That means an original paper document, stamped and signed, not a digital certificate. Whether that frees the money is still open.
