What Happened
A player says Stake emailed them a personal offer in June 2026: wager $3,000 within three days for a $500 bonus. They say they hit the target in a day and got a confirmation email with a claim link, but when they opened it two months later it said the bonus was not available. According to the player, live chat agreed the conditions were met yet said the coupon had expired, and no deadline had ever been mentioned. The mediator pointed to a rule letting Stake cancel bonuses unclaimed after 60 days.
How It Developed
- 2026-08-10Complaint opened (the opening post is private).
- 2026-08-11The mediator asked when the wagering was finished, when the player came back to claim, and whether the promotion was still visible on the site.
- 2026-08-12The player replied that the offer was a targeted email with no public page, that the claim link failed on 10 August, and that Stake's written reply cited general bonus clauses without naming any claiming deadline.
- 2026-08-18The mediator quoted Stake's bonus terms: unclaimed bonuses can be cancelled after the claiming period or 60 days, whichever is shorter. The bonus was ready on 8 June and the claim came on 10 August, so the complaint was rejected.
Rejected
The mediator found the claim came more than 60 days after the bonus became available, which Stake's terms allow it to cancel.
What Has (and Hasn't) Helped
Nothing recovered the bonus. The lesson is simple: claim a bonus as soon as the confirmation arrives, because Stake's general terms give it the right to cancel anything left unclaimed for 60 days even when the offer email says nothing about a deadline.
