MyStake: Account Blocked

9 cases on file where MyStake blocked or closed an account with money inside. Several came right after a win or a payout request: a £600 first-day win, an £80,000 slot win, a $230,000 sports run and a cancelled £6,000 withdrawal.

The reasons players were given included responsible gambling, an unexplained terms breach and an open investigation. In five cases, the player stopped answering before MyStake was asked to explain.

The $230,000 case was reopened at MyStake's request once its review ended, with payouts capped at $15,000 a month.
